Bokushi offers a program for US war veterans searching for their “purpose” and their path to the future. Now the government is concerned about the rapid rise of these well-armed, highly trained and eternally devoted Shinjas in the cult-like “program.” Most of the film (80%), which has a budget of 38 million euros, is being shot in Thessaloniki, the rest in Drama. Shooting will last until July 25.
