It tells the story of three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both starred in the series Ice Age (2002-present). I tend to get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But this cast really seemed to go all out and hit all the right notes. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that was perfect for this story. I’m always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this. Great pacing, reasonable tension, plenty of comic relief. For once I didn’t expect a twist to end and every storyline was resolved in the last episode. I really enjoyed it! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a palette cleanser in this fast-paced new world of streaming.
