Kung Fu prodigy Li Fong is uprooted from his Beijing home and forced to move to New York. When a friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition. Li’s teacher, Mr. Han, enlists the help of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso. On November 21, 2023, Sony released a video featuring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan announcing that they are both returning for the new film, as well as a global casting search for the new titular “Karate Kid.” Featured in the cast of AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon: Part of Halle’s World (2022)
