Karsh, an innovative entrepreneur and grieving widower, creates a device in a funeral shroud to connect with the dead. Diane Kruger replaced Leigh Seydoux in the role. It’s not a terrible movie at all, the problem is that the base is made up of so many ideas and themes that it’s hard not to get lost in all the chaos. It’s a ;s critique of technological advancements, AI, privacy & spyware, (experimental) surgeries and health, Chinese, capitalism, rich people, modern society and so on and so forth… The bad writing doesn’t help either, the dialogue can be silly or just exposition, the story jumps sloppily between characters and plot lines, and I know (or at least think) that some of the dialogue is self-aware and doesn’t take itself seriously, which made it funny, ridiculous (the audience laughed every now and then) and downright hilarious. You could consider this a "so bad it’s good" movie, at least the way I see it, I certainly didn’t suffer.
