Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Man, It Comes at Night) stars as Blake, a husband and father from San Francisco who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father disappears and is presumed dead.
As his marriage to his powerful wife Charlotte (Emmy Award-winner Julia Garner; Ozark, The Invention of Anna) falls apart, Blake convinces Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the estate with their young daughter, Ginger (Matilda Firth; Hallraisers)
, Coma).
However, as night falls, Blake begins to behave strangely, turning into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will have to decide whether the horror in their home is more deadly than the danger outside
But when the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they are attacked by an invisible animal, and they barricade themselves inside the house in a desperate escape while the creature roams the perimeter.
